The second volume of Louder Than Chaos promises to be just as formidable as its predecessor as Slam join forces with UK techno legend Perc in a ferocious double-A side release. 

Carbon Black opens uncompromisingly. Thunderous drums ignite the track, increasing in intensity until a subdued pad provides a brief moment of reprieve before the six and a half minute stomper comes charging back. Schism goes on a more industrial tip with a mechanised feel and crashing percussion that builds slowly, and with purpose. Short, abrupt stabs give rise to tension that is quickly cleaved by clinical, razor sharp percussion.
